Life’s transitions—whether expected or unexpected—bring a mix of joy, uncertainty, and sometimes pain. I believe that every person’s experience is valid and deserves to be met with kindness and respect. In therapy, I offer a safe and nonjudgmental space where your story can be heard and honored. Together, we will explore practical tools, evidence-informed approaches, and compassionate guidance tailored to your needs, helping you move toward greater peace and resilience.

I have a Master of Counseling degree from Cornerstone University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Wheaton College. I was raised in a strong Christian home and have navigated difficult life situations that have taught me to have an open approach to religion and spirituality. Along with my husband of 34 years, I have raised three amazing sons. I have journeyed alongside my eldest son as he transitioned his gender in his late teen/early 20’, this life experience has intimately taught me to understand the complexities, fears, and hopes that come with navigating identity, family dynamics, and self-acceptance. My own journey has given me profound empathy and insight, and I am passionate about supporting other parents and individuals as they walk their unique paths toward understanding, healing, and growth.

If you are a parent seeking support through your family’s gender journey, or if you are facing challenges related to trauma, mental health, or life transitions, I am here to walk alongside you. Together, we can create a partnership grounded in trust, hope, and growth as you embrace your unique story and find your way forward.
