Jason Anderson, LMSW

He/Him/His

Therapist

I work with high-achieving individuals to help them reach peak performance, life balance, and well-being. Using the principles of positive psychology, I guide clients in defining and achieving their goals—whether they’re crystal-clear or still taking shape. Think of me as a “mental health personal trainer,” equipping you with tools and skills to create greater happiness, peace, and fulfillment.

Positive psychology is the science of building positive emotions, engagement, relationships, meaning, and accomplishment. Through practices like gratitude, mindfulness, savoring, awe, and self-compassion, we train your brain for resilience and joy. Together, we’ll create a personalized process to reduce anxiety, anger, depression, loneliness, or even physical challenges such as chronic pain or insomnia.

Like a coach, I will be both encouraging and honest with you. I will listen to understand you as a unique individual. I will maintain unconditional positive regard for you (my super power is being non-judgmental). I will be genuine and authentic with you, like a regular person, while also maintaining professional standards.

My practice is about the pursuit of excellence and beauty, whether in academics, career, sports, arts, family, or your personal experience of life. My ideal clients are seeking to learn and practice skills that allow them to feel like they are getting the most out of life, and giving the best of themselves. This can be referred to as the “flow state”. We can work together to embrace the difficult challenges of your life, and meet them by developing your personal strengths.
