He/Him/His
Therapist
Hello! I’m glad you’re here and appreciate the opportunity to share a little about my practice.
As a therapist working with teens and adults, I specialize in anxiety (social, performance, and generalized), depression, chronic pain, parenting challenges, life transitions, relational concerns, and anger management. At the heart of my work is a simple goal: helping people function at their best and genuinely enjoy their lives.
My professional background includes supporting teens and college students, participating in religious and spiritual formation, teaching as an adjunct professor at a local university, and serving in humanitarian relief efforts overseas. Each of these roles has deepened my understanding of the human experience and strengthened my commitment to empathy, resilience, and meaningful growth.
Clinically, my primary approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based model that helps clients gain greater awareness of—and influence over—their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I also believe meaningful change happens within a safe and authentic therapeutic relationship. I strive to offer unconditional positive regard, empathy, and honesty, creating a space where clients feel both supported and appropriately challenged.
On a personal note, much of my life has been shaped by being a father to three grown children. Learning to be present, supportive, and encouraging in their development has been one of my greatest joys. Watching them pursue excellence in academics, athletics, and their careers continues to inspire me to share practical habits of resilience, confidence, and well-being with parents and young adults alike. When I'm not working, I seek my own life-balance and happiness through cooking, making new friends, and adventuring into wild places where I can hear the sound of water and see a dark night sky filled with all the stars.
I look forward to the opportunity to collaborate and explore how we might work together. If you have any questions about Restore Therapy Collective or would like to connect, please don’t hesitate to reach out by phone or email.
