Counseling Intern
Hi, I’m a counseling intern who genuinely values creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. I approach my work with authenticity, compassion, and a strong belief in the power of the therapeutic relationship to help individuals navigate challenges and foster personal growth. I want to create a space where clients feel heard and understood.
I was drawn to counseling because of my own early experiences—growing up in an environment where emotions were often buried or dismissed, I came to understand the deep importance of having a safe place to express one’s thoughts and feelings. Counseling offers that space, and I’m passionate about helping others discover insight, autonomy, and emotional resilience.
In Michigan, where mental health awareness continues to grow, this work helps provide individuals with support and tools to manage life’s stressors. Whether someone is facing anxiety, grief, identity questions, or simply needs someone to walk alongside them, I believe everyone deserves access to that support.
I welcome working with clients from all walks of life. I’m particularly interested in continuingmy ability to work with the Latinx community (Y Sí, hablo Español). Outside of the counseling room, I live and breathe running, music, and playing guitar—activities that help me stay grounded and connected to myself.
It’s a privilege to be part of each client’s journey, and I look forward to building meaningful relationships that support healing and change.
